Men's Pelvic Floor
Physical Therapy

If you're leaking after prostate surgery or dealing with persistent pelvic pain, you may have been told to just give it time—or may not have realized physical therapy could help.Men's pelvic floor physical therapy can address the muscles, nerves and movement problems that contribute to urinary leakage and pelvic pain.

Treatment is one-on-one and based on what is actually causing your symptoms.

Which problem sounds more like yours?

-Leaking After Prostate Surgery or BPH Treatment

OR

-Pain That Won't Go Away

LEAKING AFTER PROSTATE SURGERY or BPH PROCECURE

Still leaking when you stand up, walk, cough, lift or move around?Pelvic floor rehabilitation can help after prostatectomy, HoLEP, TURP and other prostate procedures. Treatment goes beyond simply doing more Kegels. We look at whether you're using the right muscles, how well they coordinate with movement, and what is causing leakage during your normal day.

Goal: less leaking and more confidence with everyday movement.

PELVIC PAIN

Persistent pain or pressure in the pelvis, perineum, testicles, penis, rectum or tailbone can sometimes come from muscles, nerves or other structures around the pelvis—not just the prostate itself.Pelvic floor physical therapy may help when symptoms include chronic pelvic pain, chronic non-bacterial prostatitis/CPPS, pain with sitting, pudendal nerve symptoms, painful ejaculation, feeling like "sitting on a golf ball", or unexplained genital pain.

Goal: understand what is driving the pain and help you get back to sitting, moving and daily activities more comfortably.

Imagine not leaking or having pain and being able to do more of what you want to do.

We can help with that.

I was really surprised by how much treatment helped. Who would have thought PT was for this type of problem?
I was nervous before coming but Dr. Clemens really knows her stuff and put me completely at ease.
